Carrboro Creative Coworking

Carrboro Creative Coworking now has a lease for office space at 205 Lloyd Street, Suite 101 in downtown Carrboro! It's 3,049 square feet and has nine small offices, two conference rooms, a kitchen, and public work space. The TARGET opening date for CCC is Wednesday, October 1, 2008. Stay tuned for exact dates and grand opening party info. :)

One of the services we provide at Carrboro Creative Coworking is conference rooms and small event hosting. We have a large conference room, a small conference room, and a flexible community space. The community room doubles as our group work area and can be used for medium sized events.

Wordcamp is coming to RDU! Check out there blog 2008.rdu.wordcamp.org.

WordCampRDU is a conference organized by the NC community and the creators of WordPress for users and developers. (Wordpress is open source and free blogging software.)

Nathan in Charlotte, NC has a blog up to explore the idea of creating a coworking space. Its called Catalyst704. If you're in Charlotte and interested go on over and help them out by taking a survey and leaving comments.

Just noticed on the Coworking Google Group that Doug in Greensboro, NC has a blog called CoWorkGSO. He's investigating the idea of setting up a coworking space. So if you live in Greensboro or the Triad leave a comment on the blog and help him out.
